The Fort Recovery Chamber of Commerce met in regular session on May 31, 2022 at Brickstreet.
Members Present: Connor Rammel, Amy Wendel, Ted Romer, Eric Brackman, PG Jellison, Thomas Shaw, Maddie (Intern for Thomas), Sue Heiser, Randy Diller
Secretary Report: Larry, made a motion to approve the previous month meeting minutes, seconded by Sue.
Treasurers Report: Checking account beginning balance $4,883.28. Disbursements totaling $270, receipts totaling $0.00 with an ending balance of $4,613.28, Cash on hand is $5.00 and the Fort Recovery Scholarship Fund is $9,632.29 for a grand total of $14,250.67. PG. made a motion to approve, seconded by Thomas

Chamber: Thomas Shaw has agreed to the Vice President; Connor Rammel, President; Amy Wendel Secretary; Eric Brackman Treasurer. Will be sending out Membership renewals in June.
Village:
The pool opened May 30th, they have actually decided to rent the pool out for pool parties again on Friday evenings from 6-8 or 6-9
49 reconstruction project is complete, there is a 4 way stop sign to make people aware.
Replacing the concrete in front of the Pool area later this summer – will end up being asphalt
Water Plant/ Lagoon is still a working progress, getting better but still have some work to do on it.
Grant for 119/Butler St is in the works
Trail Grant has been awarded, this will go on Sharpsburg Rd from Dairy Queen intersection – Flaler Rd, then from Flaler to Sweet Breeze; also includes South on 49 to Industrial Park.
School Travel Plan which would be 90% funded has not been awarded yet, but hoping for some dollars there as well.
Dr Rohrer has decided to close his practice in town, he will only have his Greenville open.
School: Chiller project is ongoing – Chip for it is backordered, so projected date is August
August 24th is first day of school with Open building being the 22nd
Merchants: Taste of Town June 15th
Jubilee: Presale only Chicken Dinners for Sunday, June 19th after the Parade (Carry out Legion), tickets are available at Mercer Savings, Park National, Miracle Lanes or Thobe’s Carryout. They are $9/chicken dinner
Ambassadors: June 4th is the “Battle of the Fort” Tractor pulls.
Athletic Boosters/WOW: Presse Box/Concession area is what is being worked on now, first piece of steel went up today! September is the plan for “wrap up” if thing stay on schedule.
Completed Electric sites and only have a few left for the WOW this year
The pre-50/50 is going to be on sale soon.
2023 Entertainment is going to be announced at this years WOW
Historical Society & Project Recovery: Planters for the Downtown were on back order, but believed to have been shipped last week, they are self-watering and Meiring’s have agreed to take care of them otherwise.
Community Foundation: Accepted Grant Distributions, they are around $80,000 worth of grants and scholarships awarded.
