Regular Meeting 03.29.2022

The Fort Recovery Chamber of Commerce met in regular session on March 29th, 2022 at Brickstreet.
Members Present: Amy Wendel, Sue Heiser, Eric Brackman, Connor Rammel, Larry Brown.
Secretary Report: Larry, made a motion to approve the previous month meeting minutes, seconded by Sue.
Treasurers Report: Checking account beginning balance $4,959.10. Disbursements totaling $233.00, receipts totaling $1485.00 with an ending balance of $6211.10, Cash on hand is $5.00 and the Fort Recovery Scholarship Fund is $9,632.39 for a grand total of $15,848.49. Sue made a motion to approve, seconded by Larry.
Old Business:
Banquet went well, around 115 people attended. Received a thank you from Wendel Poultry. There was also some talk about bringing back some entertainment next year during the meal.
New Business:
Chamber: talked about working on some town signs.
Village: Tree stumps were removed, going to plant some new trees. Applied for a Grant for “Safe Schools” getting sidewalks, etc to do that with the school signing off on it.
School: Prom is April 29th and Graduation is May 22nd. Have 100% Graduation Rate. 70ish students will be graduating.
Merchants:
Jubilee: Looking for some volunteers for some stands. Let Amy Wendel amyw@wabash.com or 419-733-2915 know if you are interested
Ambassadors: Electric bores are ready for the campsites and AES is coming this week or next to get things ready.
Athletic Boosters:
WOW: April 30th the Campsites for the WOW are going to go on sale. Tow and Go ticket sales are closing at the end of the month.
Historical Society & Project Recovery: None
Community Foundation: None
OTHER news: Tomorrow’s Technology Today no longer uses their PO Box, so just use their physical address if you are going to be sending correspondence to them.
